We Love Pets Founder is the new EWIF East Regional Chair

What is EWIF?

EWIF stands for Encouraging Women into Franchising and is the home for women looking to break into franchising as a business startup opportunity. We are very proud to announce that We Love Pets founder, Jo White, is now chair of the East of England branch of the organisation.

‘She (Jo) will be an amazing asset to the EWIF team and we are very excited to welcome her on board!’

Although our franchises aren’t just for women, Jo is enormously proud to be involved with the great work of EWIF, and the opportunities that franchise businesses such as We Love Pets can offer women looking to work for themselves.

In the UK women now account for nearly 25% of franchisees (Forbes, 2019). You can read more about the organisation over on the EWIF website.

About Jo

Team members from the most successful franchises would struggle to identify who founded the business, but with We Love Pets its a bit different!

Jo founded We Love Pets in 2008 to meet the rising demand for quality pet care, and is still very much hands-on, over ten years and 45 branches later!

Along with husband Ryan, Jo is hugely involved in the day to day running of every aspect of the business, which is run from their offices in Norfolk. When they are not working, Jo and Ryan are kept busy with their young family of two children, their much-loved Labradors, countless chickens, french lessons, martial arts, clay pigeon shooting, fishing and keeping fit.

Jo says, “I’m delighted that I have recently been invited to Chair regional EWIF meetings in the East of England and I am hoping to warmly welcome those of you who would like to attend. I am hoping to use these meetings as an opportunity to share useful franchising tips and advice, within a supportive, relaxed and confidential environment. We’ll have a fabulous guest speaker at each meeting and you will have the opportunity to share ideas and ask questions.

My aim is to build a space for people in the franchise industry around the East of the county to network and to help each other, as well as to work closely with the EWIF national network to promote franchising nationally.”

She really has created a business to be proud of and we are proud to be part of the team!
